Charlotte Laurent-Ottomane has 20+ years international and domestic management experience in a broad spectrum of industry sectors (revenue range of $1 to $30 Bn). Charlotte has hands-on expertise in implementing operational and business development strategies for high profile companies and communicating those strategies to the investment community.
Charlotte served on the Executive Committee of Alcatel Optronics, a prominent, multinational technology company. She was part of the senior management team that developed and implemented the company’s growth strategies.
Based in Europe for more than 15 years, Charlotte helped transform a French industrial conglomerate (now called Alcatel-Lucent) into a worldwide technology leader. She was a member of many strategic Working Committees whose task included mergers, acquisitions, disposal of non-core businesses, and major restructuring efforts. Charlotte has also been the company’s liaison with the capital markets. Two IPOs have been successfully completed under her direction, listing stock both on the NYSE and NASDAQ.
Charlotte is a board member of Connectyx (CTYX); FAU (Florida Atlantic University) School of Business, and Chair of the Board, ION (InterOrganization Network). Her professional publications include “Earnings Season is around the corner: It’s all about Managing Expectations”, Financial Executives International, January 2008, “Earnings – Navigating in Choppy Waters” Financial Executive Magazine, June 2008, and “How to raise money and how to keep your investors happy once you get it”, Medical Innovations in Business, published in January 2010. She holds an MBA from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Paris, France.
